"The Office" Technology Classroom

How accurate do you think this is? Is this what you see in most of your classes? If you were a teacher, how would you use technology in the classroom? What suggestions do you have to make the integration of technology more relevant?

Do you think that technology can help make a lesson better? Can you think of a class that you like specifically because of the technology? Is there a class that you don't enjoy? Do you think that you would be more motivated in that class if technology were used? Why or why not?

  1. I think its better to use technology during a lesson because kids will be more interested in the lesson becasause they can relate to using technology.

  5. No, for the most part the teahcers in our school are pretty up to date on the types of technology but some of them are not at all. Technology can make the lesson better or can completely bring it down. Like if a teacher uses the smartboard or the computer too much then it becomes overwhelming to the student but just the right ammount is perfect.

  6. I think this can be accurate because it can be hard to have teachers who are totally into technology. Some of my teachers have smart boards and they use them to their atvantage, but I think some of my teachers could use it more. I would definetly use technology because it would make my class more interesting and useful to the students in my class. I think it can keep kids attention and help them learn because it is more hands on than just a chalk board.

  7. I don't really see this in most of our classes. I saw this mostly in Emlemetary School when Smart boards first started coming out. The teachers would just use it to view the Homework instead of actually writing on it and using all the things it can do. If I were a teacher I would use all that technology has to offer.

  9. I see this in a lot of my classes, but a lot of my teachers know how to make what we're leaerning fun, or at least interesting. it can make it better, but only if it's really easy. if it's too complicated, we will most likely give up and go on the internet.
